Ok I still had my old email address listed so that explains why I didn't get anything. I have now changed it to my current one. What else do I need to do to get set up? Thanks again
I know all the "NEW" rules about not being able to post in all the good forums but this is the only place I have found I can post at all. Did I get the can or what? :hang:
Ok I have read many post about testing the TPS. They say to use the square connector and use the letters on the connector to identify which one to use. The problem I have is my connector is gone and the TPS is hardwired in.... (vehicle was totaled and fixed) Where can I find what wires to...
That is great. I was thinking of doing something similar. I am jazzed that this got some news time to show that lifted vehicles are good for all kinds of things.
Ok, The story goes. We went camping this last weekend. I was following my father-in-law to a place he knew about. He was cruising down a trail, I was cruising behind him trying to stay near him as not to loose him when it happened. My CB antenna (mounted on the roof rack) hit a tree limb and...
My XJ has to do double duty now that I am selling my car. It use to be my winter DD and summer trail rig. Now its a full time DD, camping vehicle, wheeling vehicle, kid transporter and constant maintenance queen. I try to wheel at least once a month with her and still get back and forth to work.
I saw an H3 in person and thought it looked pretty nice. I hate the H2 its just ugly. The H3 looks like you could actually wheel it. The major problem is price. They start in the neighborhood of 30,000. I don't like the IFS either but its impossible to find something with out it.... even...
Thanks guys,
I will try and get some pictures after work of the underside. I used 3/16 1x2 inch square tubing for everything but the frame plates, they are 1/4 inch. I have holes thru the main bar into the pinch seam with 5/16 grade 8 bolts (6 per side). I have 5/16 bolts holding the frame...
I finished up my sliders/ steps up today after working on them all weekend. I think they will work good for what I will be doing. I wanted a step to get up to my roof rack and so the kids could crawl in better.
My brother in law has one. We have been putting in some hours getting the carb adjusted. Dealing with a carb makes me glad to have fuel injection. Some of them have dana 44's front and rear others have an AMC 20 rear that isn't that great. They are neat and people love em. My brother in law...
I did one in a apartment parking lot. I had a 92 Ranger. It was fairly easy. the bolts on mine were very stuborn. You also need a huge Torx.. Like a T-55 or T-60 for the bed bolts. A good jack or two with some 4x4 or so blocks of wood to help lift the body. I had bought the stearing...
I got an old set of Rancho Control arms for 3 inches of lift. I used them with my 4.5inch springs for awhile before I upgraded. they are longer than stock but I would have to measure them for exact length. The bushings are useable but not great. I would like to get $20 plus shipping for them.
Dana 35 has a round diff cover and the 44 has a more hexagon looking cover. The Chrysler 8.25 has an ovalish cover and the bottom on the diff housing itself is flat.
