I have a pair of brand new in the box aussie lockers for sale. I bought them for my 2000XJ project and have since sold the jeep.
The front axle was a dana 30 and the rear was the chrysler 8.25 31 spline.
These are new in the box! They cost me 550.00 shipped to my door so I'd like to get at...
First off, a more reasonable compression with an iron headed small cammed engine is 9.7:1 at the most.
Second, quench really starts to deminish after .045 so I recommend .040 as a target.
I'm building my Father-in-laws stroker with mild porting to help port velocity, diamond pistons for 9.7:1...
My good friend Tom Scrivens is marketing this tool he deveoped...pretty neat!
Cost is around 180.00 without the saw. Thought some guys might like one...

Well, looks like I might do a HP30 and go with 4.56 gears...so much for knowing what I want to do.
I'll let you guys know what I think about them with the 31's.
Brian
Yeah I'm gonna go with 4.10's. If I ever go larger, I'll have to change a few things anyways and it'll be a ways down the road. By then I may change front and rearends anyway...who knows.
Thanks to everyone for pitchin' their thoughts! I'll post pics when it's done. Hopefully that will be...
Secretly I really want 4.56 gears....LOL! JIC I want to go 33's but then my D30 might not be up to it.
I've been told that the D30 with aftermarket axles will live as good as a OEM D44...any truth to that?
With 4.56 gears at 70 mph it should only be 2400rpm so that's still not that...
Going to lift my 2000 XJ with a DPG OME kit and use 31" Duratrac's. I have Aussie lockers front and rear. Just not sure what to do about gears.
I'm thinking 4.10's because I plan on driving it anywhere and everywhere and with 3.55's now and a 235/75 tire it hauls the mail pretty good.
I...
Do you have any pics of your XJ after the lift? How do you like those tires??
I'm just not sure what to get...I really like Mickey Thompson tires, that's what I run on my '70 Duster for drag racing. They're just so damn pricey!!
Been thinking about Goodyear DuraTracks...ahhhh I don't know.
Brian
Just ordered my 3.5" kit for my 2000 XJ from Dirk! Can't wait to get it up and going. Got Aussie lockers front and rear for it too.
Good to hear your happy with it.
Brian
Ha, you sound like my father-in-law!!
Sorry guys, I'm wanting 375.00. It's in excellent shape, and everything's there.
I'll post a pic tomorrow nite...it's just a Furd!!

Re: Which Shocks For My Rig (long arms) and Her Rig [(Homebrew 3") Also Track Bar Q?]
How do you like the TNT long arms? How's the ride?
Would you mind sharing your build info and maybe some pics??
Thanks,
Brian
Thanks for the link. Very interesting just how different some springs are.
After reading the post on front or rear lockers I'm getting dizzy...LOL!
So many ways to go.
So anyone like Teraflex and what they have to offer? I know a guy down here who has one of their kits, or parts of a kit...
