my hose going from my MAP sensor to my throttle body disappeared.. i can get a new one tomorrow thats not the problem.. however what did it attach to on the throttle body?? it looks like a sort of port there that maybe something is suppose to screw on top of?... that has some gasket maker junk...

I went to put my push rods and rocker arms back on my head and noticed one of the rocker arm bridges is bent.. meaning if the left rocker arm is sitting in place..the right one sits a couple millimeters back and is canted a couple degrees to the right.. it doesn't look like it failed at all...

I swapped my np231 to an np242 ... something I didn't realize is that the np231 links up by vacuum to the center axle disconnect on my front d30 ... So i'm going to bypass the CAD ... With my NP242 and since I'll be using full time 4x4 often ... will I have any issues with it being bypassed...

I'm trying to separate a 231 from my aw4... i've removed the linkage, breather tube, speedo cable, wire connector and 6 nuts and have tried everything i could to separate it from the transmission with no luck.. if I try to pry the two apart i can move it about a millimeter but it just snaps...

Hi, new to the XJ scene and forum.... just got me a 90 4x4 4L i-6 in bad (not terrible) shape but cheap and still drivable... Live in the SB Mountains so I needed a 4x4 for the winter... Got a lot of work to do to it so i'll be on here a lot.... Thanks for the info on the forum...
