Rear brakes won't self adjust, Chry. 8.25

I installed all new brake hardware on my 8.25 about a year ago. I did one side at a time and it looks like I installed it all correctly but they won't self adjust. I can turn the adjuster by hand and the finger that should turn it looks like it would adjust it but it's just not working. Can...

'98 XJ blowing fuse for instrument panel illumination

Out of no where yesterday the Jeep blew the fuse for the instrument panel/heater control illumination. If I turn the dimmer all the way to the right it will not blow the fuse but as soon as I turn it to the left so that the lights will illuminate the fuse blows. I had the instrument cluster...

Cut new diff cover or weld in a skid?

Before I installed my 8.25 I shaved some excess off the bottom to make it a little smoother. Of course after dragging or hitting it on a rock once it was leaking all over so I got a pair of SOLID diff covers. After installing the rear cover I now have a piece of metal hanging down to catch on...

My mom was watching the kid so the wife and I went on a date to the Jeep show in Isaquah this morning. Only took pictures of three flatfenders. Didn't really plan on posting any on NAXJA when I was there. The first picture is my first jeep that I sold 6 years ago. It's a '43 Ford GPW with...

How much should I lift my rear?

I'm looking for some opinions on lifting the rear of my XJ a little more. It's a '98 Sport with the AW4 and NP231. I bought a used 3" Skyjacker lift off of Craigslist a couple months ago and got it installed. It came with the fixed control arms, coils and leaf springs. The front went up about...
