    AC problems

    Is the compressor clutch fairly easy to change? I believe that is the problem as I have power but the clutch won't engage. TIA CJS

    I'm not sure how to check if it has power to it b/c it looks like the where the power goes in is sealed?? I'll put gauges on it tomorrow but I really don't think the system is low as it never has been before and the ac lines and everything are perfect with no signs of leaks. TIA CJS

    This is on a 98' XJ. The AC worked fine all spring and then all of a sudden quit working. I've checked fuses, connections, pressure, etc. but they all check out. The clutch on the compressor is not engaging or even trying to engage so I am not sure if it is bad or something is either not...

    im not speakin for the person who wrote this post but we did the lift on my jeep, twice now and so we know what it takes to do it. spring compressors are a last resort for us but when he raised mine to 4.5 they were almost a must. believe me, if we dont have to use them, we wont.     Don't use spring compressors, there very scary and you certainly don't need them.

    Could you have a custom piece of mirror cut? Sorry if that isn't much help but it was the best I can do.

    Built Radius Arms

    Please read some of the e-mails I sent you instead of trying to bash me on a public forum. Radius arms weigh about 80 lbs together so it is not exactly a quick shipment deal. The arms were shipped within a very reasonable number of BUSINESS days and you absolutely know that.
