    the come along wasn't too small..., I am too small... I was 18 years old, and weighed only 95 lbs soaking wet, trying to use my body strength to move several tons of heavy metal buried in sticky goo... I wouldn't recommend using a cheater bar unless absolutely necessary.

    making a battery box was my original idea... I think I am going to start this part of the build this week end... at least making a box to weld into the rear seat, then when I get back from JRTC I can cut out the floor boards to weld in the battery box.

    If it were a pulley, I would suspect a 100% overheating issue. Not an intermittent one like you are saying... I was having an overheating issue with my 89 with a 4.0 auto tranny and N242 Transfer. I spent close to $5000 in parts and leighbor at three shops to find the problem to be a pin hole...
