why not just purchase some aftermarket control arms that are close to stock length if not stock length? then you will not have clearance issues and a much stronger control arm/grease-able. I have just seen bad things come out of modified OEM control arms. but maybe my friends are just terrible...

but back to my main question will a cover that is for a jk dana 30 work on an xj dana 30? basically my question is this, is every dana 30 the same other than LP/HP and the stuff out at the knuckles. i know pretty much everything is interchangeable other than gears and carriers between LP and HP...

i have heard of solid never looked into there covers but for that price i will look into it! are they pretty good covers? i dont feel like putting gears and lockers into my truck then screwing them up because i kept the thin stamped out covers

yeah i found it with cheaper shipping and like 20$ cheaper i mean the 25-30$ i would save isnt that big of a deal but still money i can put towards my detroit and lunchbox!

was planning on selling them. :cool: as for the knuckle and caliper issue i think i will just use the knuckles hubs and all from my LP and put it all on the HP one last question! are all balljoints for d30 the same? i just put in new balljoints in the 86 axle and need to know if they will work...

alright i believe i am going to have problems with my axle build/swap and i have found information regarding unit bearing and knuckle revisions threw out the years but need someone who actually knows what they are talking about to help me out my truck -88 cherokee with a 94 motor, ax15, 231...

if you think the driveline is to long cycle the suspension. i think the only time the drive line being to long would matter is if it didnt fit at all or if the suspension was fully compressed and the drive line slip yoke pushed against the t-case which would be bad.

i opted out of using my torch to heat it but i did get it to break loose i let it soak in DW-40 for about 5 hours then i held the yoke with a big pipe wrench and let the end of it sit on a jackstand then busted it loose with a big breaker bar first try! thanks :NAXJA:

i believe that resistor is only on renix motors correct me if im wrong. never seen it in a HO also check the regulator deal on the fuel rail my friends was clogged or something to that extent and would intermittently work some days and others it wouldnt.
