I used a racheting stubby wrench I got at Home Depot. Couldn't start itoff by hand, so I used a rachet strap hooked over the open end of the wrench and secured to my rock rider to start it.

The switches often go bad. Replaced mine and everythings fine now.

There should be a thread on this in the archives from a couple years ago. Common problem and there were several fixes given.

I have a small fan that if it gets too close to the monitor will cause similar effects. Look for something with an electric motor nearby that goes on just before you notice the effect.

You can most definitely get after market motor mounts. Some of them are quite pricey. When I put new, after market, ones on, I had to grind one side to make it fit though.

Also chk your header for cracks and leaks. Exhaust into the engine compartment will accelerate overheating.

Axle shifting/rotating up and down during accel/decel? Some is normal. Chk for excess and if it's banging Drive Shaft against the xfer case or binding the ujoints.

You've changed the angle on your u-joints so they are complaining about having to stretch to that extra amount of angle. Not uncommon after a lift. Grease or change them out and it should go away.

I can't believe no one mentioned the AMC Pacer fish bowl. By the way, the Suburu Forester I have may be ugly but it runs like a beest in the snow, even with 172,000 miles. Of course, anything much over a foot and I'd probably be driving the XJ. Did you know they even make lifts for em.

Sounds like it happens when the axle rotates up or down during acceleration or deceleration. U-joint being bound and stressed a little. Unless they have to take apart the diff. to put in that new yoke it sounds kind of expensive, otherwise the diff work alone would cost about $300 around...

Have you tried contacting bearing companies directly? Like Timken etc.

It's splined and pressed in there really tight. The torx head is just to screw with anyone not familiar with it.

I've had 3 Die Hards actually freeze in the winter. One the day after they put it in new.

Probably not a good time right now with all the flooding down there?
