Stay away from aluminum parts. plastic parts bend and spring back, and are cheap. Aluminum parts snap or cause other parts to snap, and are pricey.

Awesome price, I got mine mounted this summer fit is perfect and I dont have to worry about my transfer case at all. Thanks for offering a great product as a supporting vendor, and still hoping you guys come out with a gas tank skid
From what Ive been reading its pretty easy and cheap to set yourself up to tune a subaru engine from your own laptop.
That being said, just because its easy for almost anyone to access, it doesn't mean just anyone knows how to tune an engine. I think that poor tuning probably leads to more...
That sucks didn't want to put any real work into a turdy 5. Might just try to find one cheap. The crack is tiny too just a hairline crack could probably just put new spiders in and run it, but he got lucky once and didn't damage the R&P. Probably wont be that lucky next time.
My buddy has an 06 wrangler with the d35 in the rear. Was driving the other day and managed to break his spider gears. Big surprise. It also cracked the carrier where the retaining bolt for the crosspin goes. If we get our hands on the same carrier thats not cracked, do we need to reset anything...

How much compression should be left on a driveshaft sitting at ride height?
Heres a thought. I had to cut down a front XJ driveshaft, it was too long. Maybe I cut off too much, and the amount of engagement is too little. If the driveshaft is extended too much, can it vibrate? It seems to quiet as I hit dips in the road, which would compress the shaft...
I haven't had...
I took it for a quick trip put and checked, resting my hand on the lever made no difference. Neither did shifting it into 4x4.
When I pulled in to park it wasn't doing it, I had to sit with my foot on the brake for ~30 seconds to start hearing it. Starts off real faint and its not like a...
Will do. For what it's worth, it didnt tick like this when the flexplate bolts were loose. Then it made a rapping sound when in neutral or park that went away when in gear.
Rapping, not fapping...
I have a ticking coming from under my XJ. Its a 98 4.0 auto 231. I can only hear it when I am in drive like at a drivethrough, with my foot on the brake stopped. If I put it in neutral, it goes away. Sounds like it must be something in the transmission, any thoughts as to what it could be? The...
