I have probably the same RC lift you have. It took about 6 months for the rear springs to settle out properly. I use my XJ 90+% off-road on our farm and have had the lift on for 2 years. No problems with it and I very happy with it.
When I was trouble shooting the front end lights on my Jeep after installing LEDs I found numerous issues with the wiring harness for the lights: shorts, corrosion causing arcing, bad plugs etc... I ended up rewiring the whole circuit and adding diodes to correct the lighting behavior. There are...
The shifter insert may or may not be available from the dealer. It's a super common JY part. I would suggest if you still have the small part that broke off on top just glue it back with some JB Weld or Gorillia Glue. It just drops in. The "T" handle is difficult to get off, the best way I've...
First thing is to see if electrical or mechanical. The AW4 in the XJ uses a stand alone TCU. It is under the dash on the passenger side. In the wiring harness to the TCU is a fuse. Pull the fuse out. The AW4 will default to a manual shift mode. You aca use the shifter for first, no second gear...
Fab shop for Jeep parts. It's a small operation. I haven't seen anything from them but I've heard good things from others.

It has been my experience that there is a lot of variability in the roof rack from year to year and can even occurs during the same model year. Best practice is to measure everything closely and double check the replacement parts before purchase.
The airlines aren't the problem. I haven't flown into Brazil but had a good friend in the Dominican Republic I used to go see all the time. He would have me bring some bizarre items at times. Airline no problem, getting it through customs could be, errr, challenging. There were always guys...
The factory really cheaper out on the grounds. Beefing them up and adding more con only help. Many of my funky issues went away with the better grounds and replacing my cables.
I looked back at your previous posts and it seems like you have been looking power. Some general reasons why are low compression, leaky valves, stretched timing chain, clogged catalytic converter, inappropriate fuel injectors.... there are lots of reasons that all need to be run down. Did you...
Never encountered this problem before but apparently it is fairly common in places. What I found is to try auto paint compound, jewellers rouge, bar keepers friend- All lightly abrasive polishing compounds. One guy said replacing the windshield is often better way to fix it. Apparently bat guano...
My tire is centered on the jeep on my factory carrier. I see ok out the back but tend to use my side mirriors more. I drove trucks and vans for years and visability thru the rearview was poor at best so i use side mirrors. My favorite thing is the rearview camera on my wife's Expedition. (Due to...
Here in the USA we drive on the right side of the road and as such when we have a problem, mechanical, flat tire etc... we tend to pull to the right side of the road. With that in mind the tire swinging to the right puts it away from traffic. Not all vehicles or aftermarket bumpers do this but...
