Thank you, Donthelegend, I may invest in one now... Even the Precision Instruments wrench is less expensive than the costs of this mishap. Appreciate the advice =)

4 out of 5 lugs just spin and don't loosen, advice?

Thanks for replies, ended up drilling it out. When is the best time to do this? When everyone you know is at work... because you hoped that the issue was just the studs. Ended up walking to the parts store and walking back with a new hub because the old one got stripped out and the holes...

4 out of 5 lugs just spin and don't loosen... advice?

I posted in OEM Tech, but for urgency's sake I wanted to link here as well. Sorry if I'm cluttering the NWC =( Not my intention. http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?p=245994458#post245994458

4 out of 5 lugs just spin and don't loosen, advice?

Hey, searched, advanced searched, found similar issues but none quite providing an answer I can use. I am going to try to replace my wheels and tires tomorrow and found that my front passenger tire won't cooperate. If I had the vehicle with me right now I would be on my knees diagnosing but...

    Gauges stopped working... help! =)

Will be checking all fuses under the hood tomorrow. Checked IOD tonight and it is good. After that I suppose the dash comes apart. Any other insight before I waste too much time on electrical gremlins? Thanks for replies and suggestion

    Gauges stopped working... help! =)

Hi NAXJA! Been a long time, just got back into the jeep world again. Having an issue and hoping someone might be able to advise. I am in a ZJ now, not an XJ but this question is pretty 12v basic. Happened on the way to work so I haven't had time to mess around or surf the forums 1997 Grand...

Is something supposed to be in here?

Okay okay lol. I know the something is brake fluid lol, hence why I checked when I had the issue with my brake cylinder. Will add to the fronts and get those rears done asap. N8N, nope not much at all, it still brakes but it's a lot closer to the floor than when it was proper. Thanks for the...

Is something supposed to be in here?

Crap that's what I didn't want to hear lol. So is that side for the rear brakes and the bigger one for the fronts? If I add more fluid won't there be an air pocket and will I need to bleed them? I hate brakes =( What happens if I use it for a while without fluid? lol

Is something supposed to be in here?

I can't remember if fluid was previously on BOTH sides of the master cylinder or if this is normal. Reason why I'm checking is that my rear passenger wheel cylinder just went out and leaked some fluid. Haven't had time to fix it so I checked my fluid level to make sure I wasn't out and was...

    Drivetrain noob seeks advice.

Thanks all, fortunately it was the rear than was going bad but the fronts I'm sure could use replacing. No play in them yet though. I visually checked the motor mounts and tranny mount and didn't find any problems. Got the U-Joints I ordered this afternoon and replaced. Whole project only...

    Drivetrain noob seeks advice.

I will be replacing tomorrow, I figured it wasn't normal but have nothing to compare it with so I wanted to make sure. If anyone has any input as to some other common issues the XJ has that could be causing this please feel free to chip in =). If I've learned one things about Jeeps it's that...

Yes I searched, yes I'm a noob, please help if you know anything about the topic 1989 XJ Laredo, 4.0L, AX-15, NP231, Dana 30/35. Hopefully that will help. I get a clunking everytime I either get into gear too hard or press/ let off the gas with any speed. I also feel drivetrain vibes at 45+...

    Best Burger in the NW?

On a burger related note, but not necessarily the best I've had, there used to be a place in Bonney Lake called international burger that served like 50-60 burgers and many were exotic meats. Being that I couldn't find these meats anywhere else I had to try a couple. I had burgers made of...

    Best Burger in the NW?

Flipping out burger, tacoma wa looks to be an attempted in and out burger with similar decor and menu but the main thing that sets them apart is that they believe in toppings... large sign over the cashier shows all the toppings that come on a standard burger (like ketchup, mustard lettuce...

**The Official ** You Gotta Check This Out !!! Youtube thread

Oh man, the amounts of YT joy I can spread. I almost expected these videos to relate to wheelin' so here is a great local one for off road humor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXyytUWpF9c and somehow most the videos posted above are about impressive human feets. Here's a guy doing that...

Good point... it usually does take a while to get things back up and going. I like the magnetic part about it though haha. Maybe I'll just fine a magnetic flashlight =)
