Last eve splashed through some rain puddles the XJ is running fine, parked and idling fine then the XJ just shut off... probably sitting & idling for 4/5 mins. when it shut down. It's a 96 Sport 4.0L auto 4WD...
This AM I noticed the tach. wasn't registering so I R & R'd the CPS (Napa Echlin)...
So I need to replace the rear Pass. window regular/motor, but I'm not having any luck in finding a replacement.
What is going on here... is the front & rear pass. side the same or any other thoughts on getting the window back into operation ?

So I have a 96 Sport 4.0L with a AW4...
So the ignition switch has been acting up so I go to Y.T. and find a how to on a 95 and it all looks the same... so off to the parts house and I pull it, things going smoothly... then I see what appears to be a worn "flag or wing" at the end of the...
So I've searched on & off for a few days with not much luck in finding a similar issue.
So recently past 6 or 8 mons. I've been experiencing intermittent idle issues where if I'm sitting at a stop light or poking along on a trail or idling while airing up the XJ starts to 'load up/or starve'...
I've been fighting D.W. for the better part of two years... Grrr...
EVERYTHING has been tightened & re-tightened numerous times...
Short of the actual links EVERYTHING has been replaced... suspen. & steering.
A few alignments... a couple tire balances...
Everything other than the very old...
Well it's back 2 yrs. later... we got it in on Sat. the 29th.
It now resides on the Ocotillo side of the park behind a small knoll just to the south of N. Arroyo Salado... west of the TDS Trail. ( I don't do GPS...)
I also made it to the Parking Meter's new loaction a few weeks ago...
So is there a preferred unit to buy ?? One(s) to stay away from ??
My 96 is in need & I'm ready to pull the trigger... so any thoughts would be appreciated...

I had to see how wet it actually was... right ?
Didn't even need to take the pee test... the shop just HAD to put the damn cowling back on...
It backed out under it's own power... it would of been a long wait for the shop to come out...
