Yep! I sold it a few months later and it was running great!

Looks like it was the coil rail (knock on wood). Took it too a small local shop known for diagnostics and they figured it out and fixed it. I thought 2 cylinders would be bad if it was the coil, but I guess that isn't necessarily the case! I'm just glad it's fixed.

Well, I didn't want to jack the OPs thread, but it's been a couple days, so to answer the question, I wanted to check mine because I have a misfire in cylinder 6.

Subscribing. I don't know how to do it. I suppose you could try something like removing the whole rail, hooking up your old fashioned plug/wire tester, unplugging the fuel pump fuse and cranking it over. I'm honestly not sure if that'd tell you anything, or hurt something else, or not.

This might be common sense, but it's the precats that cause the high underhood temps and hard hot starts (heat soak/fuel atomization) on '00 and '01s, right? I suppose you could use header wrap on either the stock manifold or aftermarket header to help a little.
