That's the tie rod off of the Rock Krawler steering setup. I also have the knuckles that are reamed for heims...

The RE 5.5" leaves are designed to be used with their Boomerang shackle. They are not the springs out of the 5.5" kit. They designed them longer on purpose.

We recommend running the 5.5" XJ leaf springs (RE1461) with our boomerang shackle (RE2705) for more clearance.

and scroll all the way to the bottom one by Eagle. This is the best way to measure lift height.
It looks like the bolts are at least 3/8. Who knows the shear strength of 3-3/8" bolts?...and then we can take friction into account also. The pressure formed by those bolts, should be plenty IMO...of course, what do I know?(nada)
That's a ZJ Pitman arm. I've had a couple that needed an extra washer to keep it totally tight. Watch it while someones turning after your first rough wheeling trip. If it's moving, your nut is bottomed out and you need an additional washer that is just slightly bigger than the current...
