Worn/spun bearing, scored piston walls, scored journals. I'm guess what I'm asking is does the broken off drive tang effect the oil pump doing its main job?

I def won't buy it without test driving it. My eclipse just has a lot of little problems, and me and the wife are expecting our second kid and our 92 isn't very family/DD friendly, no ac, no radio, vibrations like s masage chair... Would the problem with the oilpump also cause oil starvation...

This is what I was thinking. But I didn't want to say anything to the owner, because with my luck this would be the one engine in the world that ran the dizzy off the crank, and that would make me look like a arse..

im on 33's on a stock gears/rear end it blows on the highway. I have the biggest dead spot, aka the heep doesnt want to go anywhere without rodding the piss outta it from ~40 to ~55 (uncorrected speedo). Mileage blows too. im getting ~11-13mpg. Lets just say i like to get passed by delivery...

FL is paying the company my father drives for to go recover the trucks. Hes getting paid $200 per recovery. Yesterday he recovered 4.. Maybe i can talk him into buying me a bumper..:gee:

i have 33in dakota m/t's on my xj from the PO. They are def better on the highway then most offroad tires ive seen. But dont have alot of experience with them yet. i will update when i get them offroad.

I was wanting to mount some hella 500, and from hat I've read the housing is too deep to just bolt onto the bumper without making "tabs". Wich imo look like crap. Money isn't a big issue, but I'm sure if I dropped 300+ on a new bumper the misses would have something to say about it

Anyone got one? Thoughts on it? Looking to add some lights to the front of my XJ without breaking the bank (or without sleeping on the couch for a week)
