Prairie City is doing a visitor appreciation day again on 10/14. Free admission Saturday, information tables, and actually allowing camping Friday night and Saturday night.
We’ll be out there sometime Saturday and we are camping. We will have the buggy and the toyhauler.
There is a new “rock...
The hot air tube from outside the exhaust manifold to the front of the air box - not really a smog component- any thoughts or experiences showing up to smog without it? It’s junk after bumping it a few times with a ratchet.
I’ve always been a tape-measure-in-the-garage guy but it’s cold out and I don’t want to.
I need an alignment on stripy Jeep. 3.5” lift, short arms, drop brackets.
Is there anywhere better than the local Midas, who would be able to get the wheelbase and pinion/caster dialed in?
Along the 80...

I currently have Area 5 Group Campground reserved. This is the separate campground attached to the 4x4 area, with separate bathrooms and the stage and the kitchen area.
I know it is a long time out from now but I have already had the reservation for like...
Whether you are day tripping on Saturday or dusting your junk off after the winter, who wants to do a Prairie City on Sunday 4/10?
No park closures, it’s all open, and they have been posting about some new rock crawl course.
Get a little warmup for the Sac area folks before Reno, check for...
1989 Dana 35
Should be non c-clip.
3.55s limited slip.
Stock axle, never rock crawled, always on stock tires except like 1000 street miles on 245/75r16s.
Good for a daily driver or a roller or take the yoke and shafts as spares.
A four-pack of IPAs that come in four-packs or a 12-pack of beer...
I dropped this in the NAC Rubicon thread so I’ll spam you guys too. First week in August, Rubicon on Monday morning.

Cal4wheel fundraiser, organized event. May 13-15 2022. Any interest in a mini meet up?

There is an event fee but not much compared to fuel or a single chromoly Dana 30 shaft.
I am sad that this is on Toys for Tots day and that they have the obstacle course closed for trials bikes, but, Prairie City SVRA is having free admission visitors day on Saturday 11/20. Rare for this park, it is open for camping.
I don’t expect to be able to make it all the way down to...
Presidents’ Day weekend 2/18-21, looking to take advantage of the school holiday. Mixed use park so dirt bikes and side by sides and rock buggies and full sizes all play together.
Can’t make the toy run so I’m planning to head down the weekend before Christmas, 12/17-19. Ideally I’ll grab a camp spot in Sycamore and have one hell of a fire!
With the forests potentially being shut down for a while, is there any interest in an alternate run?
I’m not sure what remains open. SVRAs? Sunday Funday at Prairie City? Stanislaus County La Grange park? That’s a little far from Sac for what I can see from google earth.

Who’s interested? Sunday 7/11/21. Try to get high enough to not be so awful hot as it is forecast to be down here in the valley.
I’m going to start loading the buggy up in a few minutes. I’m planning to get out to Prairie City SVRA around 10-10:30. We’ll do all the obstacles and kick up a little dust on the track. Say hi if you see us.
As it says.
In my neighborhood, and of course I can’t see inside garages or what people have driven away for the day, when I am out walking the dog I don’t see any XJs. A WJ at the end of my street, some four-door wranglers, a couple new Grands (WK idk) even a matched pair of Patriots with...
Does anyone have a stock front bumper lying around that needs to be disposed of? I’m interested in one to cut up for arts and crafts. Straight and chrome would be amazing, otherwise any un-cut might work.
Thanks
Phil
I cannot list this as anything other than 27 spline because I have not opened it up.
You cannot open it up at my house.
There are a pair of 29 spline axle shafts loose so it MIGHT be a 29 spline axle, or someone was going to upgrade it.
I can turn the pinion and count the rotations if needed...
