Let me know what you have! :patriot:
First to correct my title, there was about 3/4 of a qt left in the case.
I'm guessing that your suggesting to pull the tcase out. Would a bad bearing or seal cause it to slide out the 1/4"?
Moving forward, I think I need to get a rebuild kit and probably pop for a SYE.
99, AX-15, np231, ~4.5" of lift in rear with no SYE. It has been this way for about 2 years. No issues until now.
As I was driving to work this week I smelled something funny that ended up being ATF from my tcase being sprayed on my Cat. I thought it was the rear output seal until I pulled...
Funny thing. Installed it in about 10 min.
I removed the wing window (seems like its glued to the metal guide we sawed, and attached by that small screw in the top) with the main window down in the door, then indexed it back onto the main window.
We made it pretty tough...
: )
Thank you guys very much for the responses.

Any ideas on where to source some steel coil...
So I did the exact thing just saturday out at superstition. Charging too hard, getting too much speed to go up sand dam, nailed the whoops too hard, caught air in the front, then in the back, then in the front....
Now my coil bucket looks like this:
I am running prothanes with a metal disk...
