Long time lurker, first time poster. I joined a while back when I first decided to build up an xj. I picked up a 1990 and have since made some changes.

Got the rebuilt installed, but now when attempting to start, it cranks, but I dont recieve any spark. Ive checked the CPS and it reads the same resistance as the brand new one I havent installed yet. I have no spark from the distrubutor nor the ign coil. However, when I turn the key on and check...
Just got done installing the new engine and tried firing it up for the first time. It fires up but runs really really rough. When giving it gas, nothing changes. Its almost like the timing is off... any ideas?

Got a rebuilt engine and I am in the process of install the oil filter adapter. The lil tube that comes out of the block appears to be too long to allow the filter adapter to sit flush...am I missing something?

Got a new engine and installed, yet forget to mark the TC and flywheel. Now I am having a hell of a time trying to get the bolts to line up for the TC. Any one have any ideas? Thanks
