It was listed in my FSM. I won't have access to my FSM for a week or so to get you the P/N but will try to remember to post the P/N, that is if someone else here doesn't get to their FSM before me.
98 XJ 4wd auto with 1" t-case drop & 2" lift
Has anyone ran into this situation with the engine mounts at a weird angle? I am guessing they are like this because of the t-case drop I put in. The Brown Dog mount on the driver side is really at a weird angle and I am getting bad engine vibration...
Does anyone know of a switch (cheaper than oem replacement) that will work / can be wired up in the place of the factory switch? Local auto parts store?
Re: Anyone that hasn't adjusted there Throttle Valve cable do it. WOW.
Man!!!!!! Where have you been all my XJ's life???!!! Did this today - was more than a half inch out. Trans shifts MUCH smoother now. Alot more driveable. Upshifts and downshifts through the gears MUCH better. No more slight...
Look at UNCC_99XJ posting here. Fixed my girlfriend's XJ (at least for now - been holding up for several months so far).

Cleaned the engine today on my 98 for the first time since 02. I covered the throttle body and sensors along with the PDC etc. I used Gunk engine cleaner (smells funky) and a slow stream from the garden hose. Let things dry for a couple hours then went for a drive. After 10 mins. or so of...
A horrible idea indeed. I took my XJ to a local shop and dropped it off for some work as the new place I live at has a gravel driveway. When I came back to check on it the mechanic had it jacked up (in the parking lot) with a jack stand under the driver side axle yoke. I got very worried after I...

What possible damage can be done with using the axle yoke as a jack point (besides the fact that one's gig can be severely harshed if the XJ were to slide off this incorrect jack point while underneath doing front end work)?
:skull2:
Premature hub bearing unit wear if the axle yoke...
98 XJ 2" BB lift and 1" TC drop installed. Passenger side engine mount in question.
Drivers side is fine. However, pass side looks like the rubber is pulled out a bit. Guessing from the TC drop I installed. Do you think the mount is ok? It seems pretty solid after doing the few tests advised...
I used these bushings with gabriel ultra's for stock XJ (I also have Rocky Road bpe's).

I have a 98 with 2" lift.
I had a local machine shop press them in as I...
Went from 2.5" flowmaster 50 delta cat back to 2.25" dynomax super turbo cat back and had a slight mileage decrease (maybe I am hammering it more because I can't hear it) as well as power loss. The dynomax is much quieter though. :smoker:
98 145,000 miles. Had the loose pad knock on driver side. Now new rotors, pads, calipers & hardware. All lubed properly etc. After install had problem with driver side pad catching weird and kind of grinding when apply brakes. The new pads came with shims.
The pad instructions said to shim the...
