so i went to an alignment shop today, had a front end alignment done and $80 dollars later the steering arm and sway bar link r still makin love. F?@% that sway bar! i took it off went down the highway at 80 and it still handles like a ferrari. well almost.

thnx for all the help. Its not a good idea for me to get rid of the front sway bar. I drive 100+ miles a day on the highway. i think ill get an alignment hopefully the caster is off. if not maybe a drop pitman arm?

I have a 99 xj with a 4.5" rough country lift. I noticed lately when i hit bumps theres a loud banging sound! After some investigation, i realized that when i turn the steering wheel to the right, the bottom of the sway bar link is hitting the steering arm! even at regular ride height it rubs...

wish i could go doorless but i know some asshole will steal my stereo, tools, and gps! and ill have to XXXX with all the wiring for power windows/locks/dome light/alarm

I have a 99 cherokee sport with a 4.5" rough country lift (most of the shitty components are now swapped out to skyjacker) and Im wondering whats the max tire size i can fit? I have 31x10.5s on it now and it looks like there is room for improvement but im not sure. opinions anyone?

i had this same problem when lifting my jeep. what happened was the sleeve inside the leaf spring bushing was turning with the bolt! so i backed it out a little bit with a breaker bar and spread the sleeve apart with a screwdriver.

ok, I cleaned everything up now i just gotta check the fluid level and look for puddles. hopefully it was just residual fluid! Thanks for your help.

i have a 99 xj, just changed the passenger side front u-joint. Now the gear oil is comin out of the axle tube! is it possible that i ruined the inner seal? or could I have bent the outer oil slinger causing it to leak? the axle went in smoothly so i suspect the oil slinger.
