    LED Taillights on 96+ XJ

    LED Taillights on 96+ XJ

Sorry to post to this old thread hasta , but comes closest to solving our issue. We just put some tail lights on the 96 XJ and the only issue noticed is an increase in the flash rate of the turn signals when braking. Everything else is golden. Hanes manual say the flashers should be on the...

    homemade swaybar discos

Burby and I are both running 2" lifts with the AT 235's. Here's mine after the lift. When the TNT arms come in he'll go up approx 5" and will probably be rolling on the 235's for a little while. Them 35's ain't cheap. I imagine with 3" the 235's will look kinda small, but would still work...

(Picture)Advice PLEASE long arm or ? what else?

If he had the right sized shocks there would probably be a lot less body roll. If 3-4" material were added to his SB links it would be closer to parallel. It might make them easier to use and he wouldn't have to waste money on new ones. Cause it obvious he needs to spend the money in other...

Reviews on the Long Arm Kit Please (in my price range)

From what I've read in the rest of your posts it might be better for you to convert the XJ back to stock. Then learn to drive it and maybe actually take sometime to read the advertisements that go along with the pictures before asking questions here. Also the search button would give you...

(Picture)Advice PLEASE long arm or ? what else?

Rock Yacht makes the TNT kit, so if he says it completely bolt on they must be. Longer disco's mean better geometry which will hopefully keep the the SB outta the springs and be less likely to rip the SB mounting bolts outta the frame. BTDT

(Picture)Advice PLEASE long arm or ? what else?

Cut those swaybar links in half and weld in enough material to make the sway bar sit right. From the picture it looks like you need 3 to 4 more inches. For the sway bar. Probably cost about $10 bucks in material and an hour worth of time start to finish.

    Snorkel

Maybe it because this post has gone on and on hasta and on and on hasta hasta and on and on and on hasta hasta hasta, but I still haven't seen a picture of a rig with a snorkel. I don't go wheelin' with out my friends, so I would guess if I had a snorkel and went into deep water there...

Install steps for Rusty's gas tank skid plate

Got a Rusty's skid because I was to impatient to wait for the Rock Lizard one. Well Rusty's didn't send instructions, just like when I got their tow hook brackets and Adj. spacers. :wierd: Rusty's website doesn't have instructions for the skid. Well here is the question.... If I have a...

Found some RE LCA and coil springs

Its 15 15/16 center to center with my tape. The bearings move but are slightly difficult. :wierd: I never messed with them before and they don't appear to be to costly to replace. 3" would be nice, 4.5" would be beter. ;)

Found some RE LCA and coil springs

Went to a garage sale & found some RE fixed LCA which are approx 16" center to center and a pair of 21" coil springs. LCA have the rubber bushings in one end and the spherical bearing assembly on the other. The rubbers look pretty bad, but the bearings function. Lady said they came off her...
