I had the p1494 code and sure enough it was the elbow piece on the manifold.

$400, straight from the yard? No rebuild of any sorts, that's gonna turn into a $600 axle without gears. I'm down in Fresno, I'll give you what you paid for it and come pick it up.

oh and id also be interested in the shafts...more so than the 3rd to be honest.

A drive line shop shortened it you said, but if that were the case then the short side tube would be shorter, correct? And also if they shortened it than that would cut off those wedges?? Or maybe the dudes a moron and picked his favorite number!
