I need some help with restarting my 99 xj after a full roll over it set for 24 hours before we were able to up right. I pulled all the plugs out and turned it over major oil from last plug at the fire wall. How many times should i turn it over with the plugs out? The xj is not on level ground.

The leak and problems started after a hill climb with trasfer case noise jumping out of gaer and hard to get back in 4 low. Got home to find no fluid in trans case filled up and found that the trans case was easy to get in gear idaling in garage. Now leaks like crazy at rear output.

Has anyone had a rear seal leak on a NP231? The leak i have looks like the trans has presure on the fluid with the amount that comes out. Can the rear section of the transfer case be removed sperate for seal repair?

I dont want after market shafts i will eat my ring and pinion and have more problems. All i need is what year model has the best oem shafts and joints.

I had this problem after my xj sleep over night in 5ft of water. Their is a switch under the streering wheel that keeps the car from starting and a switch on the trans that will also not let the car start. The switch under the wheel will not let you press the button for a gear on the shifter.

I watched Trucks one time and they pulled front shafts and axels from some year model grand cherokee, larger shafts and joints any idea of what year model these parts would be from?
