I tried to send pics to you guys. My program closed w/errors and I don't know if they went through. I can't ship any of this stuff, so if you're not local...sorry. The downside to the internet I guess.

    Competition XJ Chasis

Where do I start?? 1992 XJ, semi chopped top, full comp cage/exo/stinger made from 1.625 hrew and roll tested , rear set up for 4 link/air shocks or coil overs, front set up for long arm susp(fact LCA mounts are cut off, uppers still there), long arm crossmember included, hidden winch mount...

Rusty's 6.5" Long Arm Help. Yes, I searched.

this probably won't help much but I used a plasma torch. Also, if you heat the studs a bit, they come right out. I actually just used mine. It makes it alot handier to line up the crossmember with the arms attached if you have to drop the tcase.

    hp60/coilover swap on the XJ...

I'm getting ready to coilover the front of my XJ. I was thinking of using a 130 and a 250 lb spring on Fox 14" co's. From what you guys are saying, this would be way too light? This is a comp rig, east coast, no high speed stuff, winch, exo, etc. What is a good place to start?

    These tires are like "cheating"

I see you got that pesky sheetmetal problem taken care of. Looks nice!! What comps are you running?

Trying to set up 3 link front

Is the length of the lower my biggest issue? or the lack of vert separation? If I radius armed it just on the pass side, would that be enough to hold the pinion?'' If you go by the 70% rule of thumb, my upper and lowers are pretty close, so maybe it is the separation. I guess I'll try that...

    hp60/coilover swap on the XJ...

Looks like some nice work. I'm working on the same thing right now. I'd go with a Detriot for the cost alone. They are dang near bulletproof and are about $500 If you need 3.54 gears for the 60 let me know. I'll donate them to your project since you're military. They are used but still...

Trying to set up 3 link front

So I should shorten the lower or lengthen the upper? Either way, try to make them closer to the same length? RCP Phx...yeah, I was thinking that might be part of it too but was hoping I could get away with it. If I move the uca frame mount back up to the stock location, it will hopefully solve...

Trying to set up 3 link front

Here's what I'm trying to do: 2 lca's, 1 uca on pass side and a track bar. I have my brackets tacked in place and am cycling the axle up/down on both sides to see how it works. The pinion angle seems to change alot when cycling from the pass side. It's a hp D60. I used to have a hpD44 with long...

    Red Line MT fluid...

I have some MT 90 in my Dodge NV and they are fussy buggers about what kind of fluid to run. Cold, hot, it doesn't matter, the stuff works great.

New Steering setup, need your help

Like Andy said. put a jam nut on the tre at the pitman arm and tighten the crap out of all the rest. That was the biggest complaint I had on my Rusty's otk, the jam nuts kept coming loose. If they are loose, the links will roll. If they are tight, it won't roll as bad, might even be acceptable...

First Flex pics, need advice and comments

It looks the the tre on the pitman arm is not in by many threads. Where are the pics of the rear shock hoop? :)

Those running coilovers on the front...

I got the shocks used and it wasn't as good a deal as I first let on. I got 2 new coilovers, a pair of 110lb springs, a pair of 130 lbs springs, a pair of 250lb springs, a dual rate kit and a set of Blue torch mounts for $620 shipped. Sounds good, but...the redneck who sold these to me forgot...

Those running coilovers on the front...

I see seanp mounted his hoops on top of the frame rather than the side...interesting. Greg, I am doing the coilover thing too. I have 14" Fox, just because they were a deal, no other reason. I was thinking of cutting out the inner fender and mounting my hoop to the side of the frame as stated...

Lower control arms not parallel to frame

Ok, so the problem lies when one tries to run a track bar on a link set up that is already triagulated. Thanks.
