Learn something every day! Well I guess 3.5" lift doesn't need track bar bracket on the axle. Stock bar, no adjustment. Put in the bracket and it kicked the axle 1.5" to the passenger side. Soo I took it back off. Center is great alignment is good. Treachery me to listen the child at...
Just put Brown Dogs on last week. Customer service was the best I've ever seen in a company. Got the mounts 3 days after order was placed, put on the next day. And have been impressed ever since. The quality is great. Yup the poly mounts kick down a touch more vibe but not bad at all. Gonna...
94 xj, 4.0L,aw4, 231. I put 3.5 inch coils on and track bar axle end adjustment bracket now the steering wheel is about a 1/4 turn off center. Did I goof or do I recenter the wheel? All help would be great. Thanks all.
Looked at them with a mirror. 94 has Allen style bigger than 3/8, 93 has what appears to be torx but bigger than t-60. Thank for checking. Woohoo more tools to buy.
OK fine people? I have a 93 and a94 xj. 4.0 auto. Yup they both leak at the ofa. T-60 doesn't fit either one. To big on one to small on the other. Not even torx style. Any ideas? Thanx people, I'm tired of leaking.
Hey all what's new? 94XJ 4.0 auto. PROBLEM, under decent acceleration or any kind of 4 wheeling my fan clutch tags my radiator. It is a newer 3 core Rad but this problem did not start for 6-7 months after install of new Rad. Ideas? Thoughts? Thanks for any and all input. Even the smart arse ones.
OK! Not an XJ Question but I also own two of them. I have a 1979 j10 360-th400-quadrauadra trac full time t-case. I need to find out the fluid it takes. I've heard not just 80-90 but something with modifiers. Thanks for any and all comments even the absurd ones.
My vent on the rear axle runs up behind the trim panel behind the spare tire mount inside. If I get water in that then I've turned it into a submarine.
Well gentlemen I have a 94-4.0. Aw4 np231. Can anyone clue me in about swapping a 93 head to my 94 motor? Will it bolt right up? And what are some mods I can do to the head for performance while it is out. Thanks for any and all input.
94xj np231 aw4 hp30 There is some side to side slop in the slip part of the front shaft. But no$ to fix this week. So what's the down side of running without it. Besides no4x4? Thanks all
Just brought home a bone stock 93XJ aw4 np231 Chrysler.8.25 hp30 4.o. all straight everything there and working. It was dead on a guys property. He said if you want it get it outs here. So I put a couple gallons in her, hooked up the jumpers fired it up and drove it ten miles home. He asked me...
