    XJ Expedition Trailer

Photobucket decided to start charging people for their 3rd party hosting. So, those of us who used their "free" hosting have two choices. We either can start paying and the pictures will become visible, or we don't pay and the result is what you are experiencing. I think Photobucket was shady...

Let us know how that works out. They make a lot of high quality parts and their fitment is usually top notch.

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

It fit perfect in my 2000 XJ.

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

You're welcome. You may want to see what the cost of the radiator is, not the entire cooling system.

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

http://ffdynamics.com/products/cher3extark It has a lifetime warranty, too. Like I said, mine is over 5 years old and it's been flawless.

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

My FFD is now 5 years old and still problem free. I was using Amsoil coolant the entire time.

Who has WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors?

In my opinion, the XJ has so much road noise that these do not significantly reduce the noise level. With that being said, it was nice to crack the windows and not worry about rain getting into the cab. If you plan to do a lot of driving with the windows down, then I suppose there might be a...

Coolant Filter install - 2000 XJ

I was basing my comment on your comment, "I do have a lot of rust and crap in my system" If you have a lot of rust and debris in your system, it can clog the filter pretty quickly, especially if using a smaller micron filter such as the Donaldson filter. Or, if this is your initial cleanup...

Coolant Filter install - 2000 XJ

It's possible that your filter is already clogged. It doesn't take long to clog a filter if you have a dirty system.

    Project 2000 XJ (Daily Driver)

I'll still be here to answer questions. And to be honest, it might take a few months before I get it on the market. I'm probably not going to take less than $3,500 for it, so who knows how long it will stay on the market. I'll be more motivated to sell it once I find a vehicle replacement.

Thank you. NAXJA is a good place to come for information. It will be missed. I have worked hard and made many sacrifices to live in a rural setting. Do what you can in the circumstances that you're in. I have a friend who purchased property, lived in a cabin tent, and worked her way...

    Project 2000 XJ (Daily Driver)

I didn't think you were poking. Buying a new vehicle is expensive and certainly requires a lot of thought and financial planning for most of us. Trading in a vehicle just for fuel mileage doesn't always mathematical pan out, but people buy into that sales pitch way too often. My wife will be...

    Project 2000 XJ (Daily Driver)

If we sold some assets, I could pay cash for a new Ecodiesel. But you're right, the fuel savings alone isn't staggering. I did take a pencil to the fuel savings. I figured we would save $200 each month which comes to $2,400 annually. In 10 years, that's a total cost savings of $24,000. I can buy...

    Project 2000 XJ (Daily Driver)

We are beginning to see an end to owning the Cherokee. The Jeep has played a huge part in developing our property and accessing our beehives throughout the Zuni Mountains. By November, we're hoping that my Granddad's 1958 Ford Workmaster Tractor will be remanufactured and ready to use. If so...

Thank you! And yes, debt free is the way to go! I just finished watching the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University series recently! The Cherokee is back in full swing. As a matter of fact, I've logged over 3,000 miles in a two month time period. We increased our bee hive operation and...

Thank you! I haven't measured the fuel economy in a long time. Let me run a few tank fills and report back.

Unfortunately, no. Those were on the XJ before I bought it. Once I have the vehicle repainted, I will be installing new mud flaps, though.
