yup a few taps on the gauge cluster usually gets them back working. My 98 does the same thing. My 93 yj would do the same thing as well.

looks like a RockKrawler arm. That's what I have on mine. And RK says they can be mounted with the bend up, but everyone I've talked to who has them, including myself, has had to mount them with the bend down like yours for the proper length, etc.

I have the 6.5" RK 3 link long-arm. I've been running it for a few months now (I bought it used too) and it's been fine. No real complaints. Smooth ride, great articulation.
