    HnT help

just follow the directions that come with the kit. That's what I did with mine and that was the first time I'd done one. It's pretty simple.

rock krawler suspension! what do you know?

Figured I'd add my .02. I run the RK 3-link up front and have about 6" of lift. I run 33x12.5 TSLs with trimmed fenders front and rear. I extended the front bumpstops about 2", nothing extra in the rear. I still rub under full flex a little bit front and rear. Yes, I could bumpstop more, but I...

    RE Hac n Tap

just use an angle grinder with the jeep in reverse, makes it so much easier and a cleaner cut. Tapping the hole was a PITA as you need to go slow and be careful not to break the bit.

teraflex revolver shackles on a xj

ha, I laugh at all the bad posts about the Revolver Shackles, especially since 99% of the people who post that have never run them. I bought a used set f these about 9 months ago and love them! I was a little worried before I got them because of all those negative posts, but it was a great...

    ZJ steering with 6.5 lift

that's what i'm running. zj tie rod with 6" RK 3-link long arm. the steering hasn't been an issue for me as I have the flex limited to unseat the coils 1-2".

Anyone run these, or have any experience with them?

no, that was one of my worries from reading bad reviews. But I've driven on the street, off camber, steep climbs/descents, fully flexed, etc. and have had no bad effects at all. I really love them. They've increased the articulation of the rear a tremendous amount. I run a RK 3-link long arm up...

Anyone run these, or have any experience with them?

you know, I had heard lots of bad reviews about the revolvers before I got them. But I found a great deal on them used here on NAXJA and couldn't pass it up and I am damn glad I didn't because I love them. I've had 0 negative things to say about them and have had them for prob. 6 months now...

    PCM Compatability Question ?

the codes/part numbers don't matter. As long as it is from a 97-99 with an auto you will be fine. I researched this a lot when I had to replace my pcm. The dealers tried telling me the part numbers had to match and it needed to be reflashed also ($150). I listened to another member on here and...

Anyone run these, or have any experience with them?

that looks similar to having the revolver shackles, which I have and love. The revolvers twist just like those bushings. I haven't noticed any difference in ride quality as far as the rear swaying more and I don't run any swaybars and I do drive it on the street every now and then. I think it's...

Anyone that hasn't adjusted their Throttle Valve cable do it. WOW.

Re: Anyone that hasn't adjusted there Throttle Valve cable do it. WOW. i did this the other day. Didn't really notice any better throttle response. The only difference it made is that the tranny shifts are very apparent now. Before it was relatively smooth, now you can really feel when the...

I can't imagine you damaged anything with water that shallow. But it doesn't hurt to check the items listed above.

Auxillary fan not working and overheating

the electric fan motor might be seized. Happened on my 98 before. Replaced it with a new one from ebay for $50 shipped. Has worked fine for about 6 months now.

    Gauges Shutting Down ?

yup a few taps on the gauge cluster usually gets them back working. My 98 does the same thing. My 93 yj would do the same thing as well.

    Connecting exhaust pieces?

you can do that or weld it. I welded mine. 2.5" all the way back.

Jeep keeps falling on it's face

I had to replace both at the same time on my 98. Code still comes back, but runs fine. now

Help. Whose LCA's are these? What type of Johnny joint is this?

looks like a RockKrawler arm. That's what I have on mine. And RK says they can be mounted with the bend up, but everyone I've talked to who has them, including myself, has had to mount them with the bend down like yours for the proper length, etc.

    Cowl Snorkel

    RE 3.5" Ride Quality

I ran the RE 3.5" on my 98 for awhile with Pro Comp shocks and the ride was great, better than stock. I thought it was an excellent kit.

    Crunching sound

it's prob. your rear ujoint. You're running 3.5" lift on a 2001 without a sye (at least your description didn't say you had a sye). Your rear driveshaft angle is prob. maxed out and it's wearing your ujoint. The tcase drop alone isn't a solution. Install a sye and be done with it. That would...

    rockkrawler triple threat

I have the 6.5" RK 3 link long-arm. I've been running it for a few months now (I bought it used too) and it's been fine. No real complaints. Smooth ride, great articulation.
