Mine is turning into more of a trail only rig, but I replaced my cat with one of the tube shaped universal ones from magnaflow and straight piped the rest with 2.5". Everything is flush with the bottom of the unirails. The cat is tucked away near the crossmember. I had to weld in a bung for the...
Yeah, I saw the connector. Mine's a 97 so it probably won't work. I Put the new mopar one I bought back in, but I have fuel problems too, so I'm gonna get that taken care of before I mess with CPS any more. Hooked up a gauge to the fuel rail yesterday. Have to take it to run twice in rapid...

Finally got some pics uploaded after fighting photobucket for the last 2 nights. Deleted about 1.2GB of pics/videos and it's telling me there's not room for 400 MB of pics...:flamemad:
Thanks to everybody who organized...
CO to Houston, no problems. Houston to New Orleans (spur of the moment detour), Fine. Fired it up to leave NO and cam pos sensor died. Caught a Taxi to napa and they warrantied it. Crank sensor is still acting funny when it gets hot. We didn't turn the engine off from NO to VA, lol. It was a...
Just got back to VA today. Was a long trip back. Here's a few videos of Poughkeepsie that I had on my phone. I'll get more stuff posted up after I sleep...

Is anybody else planning any other runs aside from the trails listed in the schedule? Debating if I should bring my mud tires along. I'm off work from the 22nd till the 8th and up for anything.
Tent site is fine. My wife and I will be coming from VA and parents/sis will be coming from Houston. Parents have a 2wd XJ, but can ride with me on any of the non-stock friendly trails.
I'm getting 16-1/2 from the front of my 231 to the centerline of the yoke. 13-1/2 to the end of the seal housing on my AA SYE. Atlas is 11" from bolting surface to end of rear seal housing. So about 2-1/2" shorter. They didn't say anything about a spacer for mine. Maybe it's different for an AX-15.

Has anyone done this in an XJ? I'd like to install a 14 bolt and stretch my rear ~3" back but don't want to lose the cargo space it would take to mount it in the back.
If so, what...
The pic was at Big dogs on insanity trail. I'm running a 8.8 rear with the super 88 kit & Detroit locker and haven't treated it nicely. Lots of heavy throttle hill climbs and playing in the rocks. No problems yet. The rear has a 4.5" RE lift with some homemade shackle relocation boxes. Front has...
I've owned 2 sets of them and love them. 31x11.50r15 and now 35x12.50r15. The 31's actually ran a little bigger than 31" but the 35's measured 33.5". Tread widths were the same. Wasn't very happy about that, but they do hook up pretty well. I have to air them down pretty low to get them to flex...
I mounted a Puma compressor (same as the one Iron Rock Offroad sells) in the rear passenger cubby in a bracket I made from scrap steel. It fits flush with the exception of the quick connect fitting. Unfortunately I haven't used it much since it keeps blowing the 40A fuses. It's pretty loud...
1-tonxj, The problem I had when I broke the front the last time was a big hill climb where my front axle started hopping. I'm running a homebrew clayton radius/y-link style suspension. I think the bushings in the upper arms had a bit too much play in them. I replaced the rubber bushings with...
I ordered the 3.8. I'll let y'all know how it works for me when I get it in. I figure if I want it even lower, I can just find a 4.3:1 1st gear/countershaft for the tranny. Best of both worlds, right?
