When I did this swap on my TJ, I was running 38.5x14.50 tires, with full chromoly shafts. I never broke the rear shafts, but I did toast the front, breaking almost everything except the CTM's. I would say this combo is bulletproof with stock shafts on 35's. To go 37's, you need full Chromoly...

The torque converter could be out of round. Those things can cause a lot of problems. Search for a video of a TC at full speed. You would not believe how much they balloon. Over time, they start to distort and go out of round. Not saying this is your problem, but it is worth looking into...

Hasta I've been saying this for at least 10 years, and it hasn't happened yet. And people have DIED in those notches on TDS weekends in the past, and still it doesn't get shut down. I refuse to go to the notches, and I especially won't take my kids anywhere near it. Too much craziness.

I did two recoveries...one was a TJ that almost fell off a camel back, and one was a friend of mine who got into something stupid on purpose...good times!

I just got back from truckhaven...last night 60 MPH+ winds. It was as bad as I have ever seen it out there. That won't stop me from going again next weekend!
