i'm not sure if mine qualifies anymore either. i probably have 2" of lift and i have new 33" km2's. it sure seemed LCOG when i had to cut the crap out of the fenders to fit the 33's and bumpstop it quite a bit as well. i still have 4" up and 5" down in the front and i'd estimate 3" up and 6"...
So my 93 xj 4.0 decided that building up pressure in the gas tank and a screaming fuel pump is cool. It will seriously hiss for ten minutes when I crack the gas cap to fill it up and if I take the cap all the way off the fuel will shoot out several feet... Yeah it's awesome. Anyone have an idea...
you can definitely clearance that seam more as well, mine is completely flat. i am running 33x12.50s on a saggy 3" lift and i don't rub back there at all. i rub on the awkward bulge in the front of the inner fender and even on one of the steering box bolt heads but that's it and even then it's...
that's weird cause mine is ridiculously stable at 3" and 33's, way more stable than my buddies tj with 2" and 33's. put clamps on your leafs(if you don't already have them) and get better shocks imo oh and bump stopping appropriately can help
granted i don't have a roof rack for this very...
wow talk about memories, that's my old rig lol
oh and btw it was free to cut in half, i used my buddie's plasma cutter :D
i started out cutting the top off the back and i got a little carried away, the p cutter cuts through xj sheetmetal (that's all there is on an xj lol) like warm butter
low rigs dominate escalator... ask me how i know
you should:
1. locate the person that told you that
2. ball up your fist
3. with great force propel it into their windpipe or ear (your choice)
4. shrug your shoulders
5. walk away
that's a joke btw, but if you want to do it that's cool too
i like the 60/40 split in fact i only want the 60 part of it, is there any strength to the seat as in can someone sit on the 60 portion while the 40 is folded down... sorry for the :yap:
i was planning on modding my xj seat to be a 60 or less only and use the other portion for storage(spare...
man seeing a pic of it is like a freakin' sasquatch sighting... all this garbage about "check here", "no wait check here" or "did you check there"
thanks!
that's a nice 91-95 btw hehehe
cool, that is what i thought. i did bottom>top on my tranny cooler for the same reason. another question for you guys, this will add some fluid to the system, correct? i just figured whatever fluid is left in the cooler/lines (i can't imagine it being much) while the jeep is off will affect the...
sorry to bring this thread back, i just have an easy question. the line i want to put the cooler on is the one that comes out the back/bottom of the reservoir, correct?
thanks
nice to know that it will fit over the stiffeners, i guess i can decide whether or not to drill through the rail. thanks for the prompt response :D
i am ordering up!
wondering if the 231 t-case skid will work with hd offroad unibody stiffeners... searched but couldn't find anything about it.
technically they are only 10 gauge/just over 1/8 but i don't know if the skid has that much play in it. a quick answer would be great since the sale is ending in a...
any naxja deals going on for the front and rear stiffeners? i already have your main stiffeners and LOVE them, just looking to get the front and rear set as well
thanks
any input on how much heating it takes and what kind of scraper to use to remove the undercoating? a link to a scraper on the harborfreight site or something would be cool.
on my last jeep i wirewheeled it off and i really hated it...
i also love the idea of marking where the welds will be and...
thats weird because my legs are no longer than my brother who is 6'2"... i am all torso.
and as far as the first vs second gen thing goes, when i get in my buddies second gen my hair does touch the headliner. i wonder if the trim package has something to do with it...? he has the overhead...
you guys must have second gens...? both of my first gens clear my head and i am 6'6". granted i can only fit a couple fingers between my head and the liner but still i never hit it. weird
oh yeah we all know that, but things have changed alot since i built my first xj buggy. i was 21 then and all i had to pay for was... oh wait i had nothing to pay for besides the build.
now i am married, with a house (and all that comes along with it), my wifeys acura to pay for (worth every...
