    The Rocket is sold.

    1992 XJ 4.7 Stroker- $3000-4000

It was, and still is an HO. OBD-I is, in my opinion, the best fuel management for a stroker in a Jeep. It has the right sensors and adaptability to fuel the motor on it's on (Oh yeah, it has 24lb ford injectors), but doesn't cause problems like the OBD-II does. Further tuning can be done with an...

    1992 XJ 4.7 Stroker- $3000-4000

Block and trans are $3000 and come attached to an XJ. The Jeep isn't with me to deal with parting out, nor do I want to do that right now.

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Yeah the XJ is listed for $3k plus incentive to have work done with Tyler. The F350 will be listed around $18k. That would get rid of all my debt and provide enough to buy a cheap project. I wish it could be a XJ/MJ but most likely I will wind up with a Toyota (4x4 manual is a must, and most...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Oh hey guys... long time no see. Quick update... still on the west coast. Class is currently kicking my rear end. I still don't know where I'm going after here. My F350 is currently racking up a substantial bill at the shop for 6.0L repairs and bulletproofing, which has me evaluating a lot of...

    1992 XJ 4.7 Stroker- $3000-4000

Guys, I am coming to a harsh reality that my days with the Red Rocket are over. I have no foreseeable timeline for finishing my ideal build, or even when I will get to use the Jeep again. On top of that the tow pig I bought to haul the Rocket is starting to cost me a small fortune, so I think...

    Fuel Pump Safety Switch?

It's a Ford thing. Had one of them bastards on a Tempo I used to work on. "fuel pump inertia switch" it's supposed to be set off when the car is bumped hard enough to prevent leakage/fire and such. Most are in the trunk. Stupid things are easy to set off. Setting the car down off the floor jack...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Try doing a Chevy 2500 Duramax with 200k on the original ball joints. The one stubborn joint took several hours and sounded like a gunshot when it finally let go. Along with copious amounts of heat and penetrating oil, I had graduated to a 10 ft cheater bar.

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Until Doug and Tyler got looking at the MJ I had planned on making it a DD and weekend warrior. The rust became an issue and I wound up with the tow pig. Now that I DD that, I don't think I could ever go back. The luxuries have spoiled me. The XJ hasn't been tagged for several years now and I...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Hey those fancy DRW double enders break the bank! I want Melkor's super duper digital inflator. Man all these years and we Jeepers can't get it right, Ford knows best. Knock on wood I have yet to feel anything in mine, but I put new front tires and alignment on it right after purchase. My...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

I found this pretty entertaining. Once Ford learned of my truck purchase, they feel the need to send me a letter explaining death wobble.

Yes!!! I like the delay in the on position, I might be seriously tempted to do this with the diesel. Connected through the home wifi network or Bluetooth?
