Hi Everyone,
On the heels of the good news about the arrest of a suspect in last summer’s rash of vehicle break-ins comes terrible news from Barrett Brown about a theft from the Northwest Trail Alliance of their new ST240 single track trail machine, it’s trailer, and several other trail...
This is one of our Curtis Trailers lot trucks. It was stolen from our lot in Aloha OR sometime Sunday night/Monday morning.
1994 Chevrolet K3500 4x4
Plate=TYS 486 ( I think)
It's Blue and silver, has fairly new tires on stock steel wheels with beauty rings, chrome nerf bars, Happi Jac camper tie...
I have been working on a rough idle problem on my 89 4.0. WHile attempting to adjust the TPS, I noticed my input voltage was 3.84. Everything I read says it should be 5V. Do I have enough voltage for it to work correctly? If not, is an ECU change the only way to fix it?
I have been wanting one for a while, but could never find a spot I wanted to put it...until today. For some reason, this brilliant idea hit me, so I went with it.
My 89 Cherokee has later model front seats in it, and they have the seat belt buckle attached to them. I still had the OEM buckles...

Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski wants to ban aftermarket parts...including tires!!!
I am reasonably sure this will affect all, and I mean ALL of us!

I swapped a dual diaphragm booster and master into my 89 XJ.
I ground the end of the rod so I could use the old switch, but I can't find all my wiring. I have the blue and pink that go on the straight terminals and I know there was a connector that went on the angled terminals on the other side...
I swapped 3pt rear belts into my 89, but they are not quite what I wanted. I need some that have the ratcheting mechanism for car seats. Are there any compatible years that had this feature?
I am working out a bunch of weird bugs that showed up after the roll and this one has me puzzled. My switched power wire (the pink one) for the stereo has lost power and I can't seem to find the other end of it. All my fuses seem to check out fine. I just don't know where this wire gets it's...
I rolled my XJ last weekend and need to replace the roof on it, including the A pillars and possibly one B pillar. Will I be able to "remove" the pillars from the rest of the body, or will I need to splice the new roof onto the old pillar?
My 5yo son was outgrowing the car seat he used in my 89 XJ so we needed to find a replacement. There were a few problems with this. 1) There are only lap belts in the back seat, so a booster was out of the question. That's ok though, as I wanted to keep him in a 5pt harness anyway. 2) Seats that...
Last summer, I destroyed my 20 gal fuel tank. I got a replacement from the junkyard and put it in. Since then, when it's near empty, it takes 13 gal to fill it. When I do, the gauge reads about 3/4 full. I dropped the tank and compared it to my old one. It looked like the same tank. No extra...
After months of research, I finally got a replacement for the D35. I have not had any problems with the 35, so this is more of a preventative upgrade.
I decided on the Chrysler 8.75. It came out of a 69 B-Body (Satellite, Coronet etc.). It has a WMS of 59.20, 5 x 4.5 BP, and the 742 case. There...
The distributor in my 89 4.0 is making some noise. It sounds like a bearing going bad. I have been looking for possible upgrades (MSD, Mallory etc.) and I can't find anything. Are there any upgrades out there?
It seems that my 89 XJ likes to purge all the washer fluid when I am out wheeling. Anytime I get pointed up a steep hill, the fluid gravity feeds itself through the nozzles. Is this a pump problem or what?
First of all...I have an 89 XJ-3.5 RE lift, Lock Rights, 33" BFG MT's and no sway bars.
After breaking my first home built track bar, I figured I had better upgrade. After weeks of research I decided that Kevin's Off Road Track Bar Conversion was the one I needed. I like the simple design...
