    OME 4" Leaf packs

Looking at the pics of the new 4" pack, the second leaf down from the main is what OME sells as their AAL. I'm glad to see that they started doing this. The old packs basically had the main leaf, then what is now your 3rd leaf down bolted to them. This did not give enough support to the main...

    chopped top owners??

I don't remember his screen name, but the green one you posted was built by the owner. I don't think too many people actually pay someone to chop the top on their Cherokee. Shop time is extremely expensive, and you may end up paying more for the fabrication then the vehicle is even worth...

Someone with a 3 to 4" rear lift, please help

Well, I think your springs might be a little flat, either that or you keep a metric s**t ton of crap in your jeep. I strung a line from the front spring eye bolt to the rear spring eye bolt and measured down to both the axle tube and the bottom of my pack. From the bottom of the pack was 5...

Someone with a 3 to 4" rear lift, please help

I'm running RE 3.5" springs that are only 2 years old now. I'll try and get a measurement for you later tonight, when the wife gets back with the XJ.

    What problems come w/ strokers?

Now start pricing out all the adapters, headers, and wiring to make it possible. Not to mention all of the consumables that will go into a project like that. Not saying an LS isn't a better engine, but definitely not cheaper when everything is said and done.

Anyone use OME LIGHT DUTY leafs?

That's what happened to my OME packs. Except, I think I got almost 2 years out of mine. If you look at the way the pack is assembled it becomes apparent that a main leaf failure is inevitable. The secondary leaf just isn't long enough. There's too much leverage on the rear of the leaf, and...

    State inspection in PA

That really comes down to who's doing the inspection. Some mechanic's will bust balls, and some won't. I hate ABS. So, every vehicle I've driven that came equipped with it, got the ABS relay removed. I've never had a problem with inspection due to that.

2-3In Lift Leaf Springs with Mil Wrap?

That always bothered me about mine as well. I decided to rebuild my packs with the OME aal. It doesn't wrap around the main leaf, but it does run the entire length, of the underside, of the main leaf. Could be something to look into.

    Cooper Discoverer STT??

I ran 33x12.5s for a few years and loved the tires. They did very well on every terrain I tried; mud, rocks, sand, snow and ice, and on road. Once I wore down the siping on the center lugs, they weren't all that great in the snow, but that's to be expected. The only reason I didn't buy STTs...
