You can run forest service roads through Pisgah National Forest all day long with those Jeeps. Get a Forest Service road map and check out the unpaved roads. Make sure the roads are listed as being open though because a lot of them are gated off. Check out the Harmon Den area just East of Smoky...
I have searched and no luck. Does anyone have any info on installing an old AW4 into a new XJ. I have a 96 AW4 that is going into a 98 XJ. There are two wires missing on the old trans, is there an adapter or do these wires even matter?
Im running a 5.5 lift on mine with axle shims and no sye. the shims were in place when i bought it but i can say that i have a very bad angle on my tcase and i am running it fine. I do plan on adding the sye very soon but until then i will have to deal with the vibrations. its nothing worse...
I have searched and I am not coming up with what I need. I know it is a pretty straight forward install but I am looking for a detailed write up on installing an AW4 into my XJ. Basically step by step instructions so I dont leave anything out. Does anyone know of anything on the web?
