    My RE kit ain't good...

I put three signs in my XJ so someone else won't get stuck with a kit like I ended up with. RE either sent me the wrong springs or their engineers just think a vehicle shouldn,t sit level. I bought the SuperRide kit - yea right. I had a 1-ton cab and chassis that rode smoother. AAAGGGHH!

10 Lb. residual pressure on drum brakes

Is anyone running a residual valve on the rear drums? I've read it will hold the shoes closer to the drums. I have been experimenting with the parking brake and found that one to two "clicks" makes braking MUCH better but still gives no drag on the brakes. I bought the valve, but haven't...

Does anyone know why. . . SYE related

Someone recommended to me to just get a custom drive-shaft made with a CV joint and a slip yoke to replace the stock one. Is there some reason I don't about why the slip yoke need to be eliminated? P.S. I just installed a RE 3.5" see http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=31278 and am...

    Just finished RE Super-Ride install. . .

Well I've been watching this forum for some time and decided on Rubicon Express for my lift. There were some problems and I was just wondering if these issues are similar in other kits too. The biggest issue was the new U bolts. They were the wrong size; too small to go over the axle tubes...

    1998 XJ trans low/2nd gear & TC lock-up?

I've searched through the forum and the 'net but all the info about the auto-trans shifting mod seems to be for the pre 1997 XJs. I read one that said it wont work on the '97-2001 XJ. I'm from the school that anything is possible. Does anyone know what is different about the late model XJ and...

Where do ya put yer stuff?

I just bought a 1998 XJ and one of the first things I noticed is it is really lacking in storage nooks and crannies. No map pockets in the doors. No pockets behind the front seats. No cubby holes to toss sh*t in anywhere! But I still love it!;)

    Yup, another tire question.

I've been looking through the forums for hours but didn't find the answer to my question. . . which is: Will 31x10.5 BFG AT's on stock wheels fit under my stock 1998 XJ if I trim the fenders (maybe a lot) but no lift? I want to add ground clearance not tire clearance. ;) Chuck
