    anyone seen this?? help...

This may be a stupid question but have you check or change you plugs. I put new plugs in my 87 and had almost identical problems. It would stubble all over itself when I mashed the accelerator until a higher rpm was reach and then it would clear up and accelerate hard. The Number six plug was...

Anyone ever replaced the windshield themselves?

If your rig has the chrome trim around the windshield then it is glued in. The piano wire works but the actual tool for cutting the adhesive is better and can be used by one person. I bought mine at a local auto parts store. Anyway I learned that the old glue in style can be direct replaced with...

    AW4 Shifting Problem

There is a TCU (transmission control unit) under the dash on the passenger side. This unit controls the transmission using input from your TPS, speed sensors, etc. It is entirely possible that it could be malfunctioning or getting bad readings from any of the other sensors that feed it info...

    Exaust got banged

Walker Exhaust has a new "down pipe" with the flange and all for about $30- $40. I got one from my local parts store. Check the Walker web site first so you have the right part number then go to you parts house and see if they can get it. Oh yeah you might as well get the new flange gasket too...

    Fuel hose

Is it leaking at the crimp for sure or might it be coming from the quick disconnect that attaches the hose to the fuel rail? I would bet on the disconnect. If it is the disconnect the repair kit runs about $20-$30.

If you just taking it out of you filter housing and putting a filter on the fresh air line from the air cleaner will not solve the problem. All that will do is cause the blow buy to cover your engine where ever the new filter is mounted with oil. The problem is the vacuum side is inefficient at...

Just to clear it up wether I call it PCV or CCV it is the same thing. It is crankcase ventilation. Both the "PCV" and "CCV" system work in the same way. The only difference is the system on the 4.0l uses an orifice to regulate the amount of vacuum and the other uses a PCV valve. The problem on...

Are you talking about oil in the air filter? If that is your problem I may have the fix for you. I took off the stock PCV system and went with a basic PCV valve system. I have all the part numbers at home and can take pictures if needed. let me know if this is what your problem is.

need some adive on replacing the rear main on my 90 xj

I did not have to loosen up any other bearing caps. All I did was use a small punch very carefully tapped the old seal out enough to grab it with pliers and finished working it out. It will not pull straight out you have to work it around the bottom side of the crank.
