I get the same thing becuase the inner trany shifter boot is torn and hot air blows up into the plastic console

That just happend to me on a front one, I just took a wide fine toothed file shave the dirt and rust off till I got a shiny surface and then the clips just fit and the joint moved free. Use caution, just the dirt and rust.

It is not just oil in the tube, it leaves CD sized oil puddles wherever I park it for over a week and a half, I was hoping thou. The axel just slips out once you take the wheel bearing off, I did the drivers side like that no prob. The passengers side axel is only ~16" long before it slips...

I pulled my passanger side front axel out of my 89 xj Dana 30 to change the ujoint out and now it leaks at the knuckle. I think I must have push the oil seal out or something when I put the axel back, I kind of had to weasle it in to pick up the spined sleave of the axel vacuum disconnect...

I have the same problem. I did the ax-15 swap last weekend on my 89 with all new clutch parts and it was impossable to get into 1st 2nd and rev. I tried bleeding it over and over again even jacked up the back end 2ft to do it. Now it shifts fine when it is cold, like 5deg C, and gets worse...
