    Cutting hi lift

I'm not sure if this will help in your situation, but I replaced the factory pins with ones that I could remove by hand. Now I can quickly disassemble my 60" high lift to make it fit in the Jeep with no problem.

Yes, another HP D44 build thread, just a few Q's

I'm running a fullwidth Waggy 44 up front. I didn't cut it down, used Dyna Trac brackets (with rubber UCA inserts), and I used all Ford outers for a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. Here's a JP Magazine article that helped me out while building the 44...

    Junkyard upgrades

For you Dana 44 front guys: A 1995 Dodge 2500 4x4 pitman arm fits on the stock XJ steering box. It is extra thick, has a bunch of drop, and has more throw. It'll bring you back to a tight turning radius. Note: the taper for the drag link is from the top, so if you are running TREs you need...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

No pics to show, but I grabbed some ZJ power leather seats from the JY. We cut off the old front mounting brackets, welded on new ones, bolted them to the floor, and ran power to them. They work great!

Yep, and it also doesn't sound like there is anything wrong with your limited slip differential either.

    Ford D44 Question

FYI, I found that a mid 90's Dodge 2500 4x4 pitman arm bolts up to the Cherokee steering box just fine. It has much more drop and throw than the stock Cherokee arm and it has brought my turning radius is back to normal after my Dana 44 swap. The only difference is the taper for the draglink...
