well i sold my xj cause i needed a truck :bawl: . but i do have a cam and lifter kit from crane left over. anyone interested please call me at 812 319 7324. if i recall right its a .456 .484 lift. p.s. they are brand new still in the box. 130 bucks

i am now using castrol GTX 20w50, a mobile 1 filter and thats all i did . sending unit plug was fine. my pressure runs between about 37- 42 psi now. seems to be running good.:cool:
i usually use valvoline high mileage 10w40 with a fram filter. i have noticed that it does it at idle or when i slow down. when i have my foot on the throttle, it is right around 40psi. i dont really drive it hard either. well not in the last year or so. i will change my oil this weekend and...
are the sending units know to go bad? i just replaced it like a year or two ago. two people have been telling me that it could be a broken ring on one of my pistons but i dont know. gotta sell some stuff before i can rebuild.
one door is a off i beleive a 98xj the other is off an 86 comanche. neither one has interior door panels or glass, both could use paint, but they are straight.

the only thing that bothers me though is that it starts shake a bit at times. i was sitting in the drive through for the bank and the pressure dropped and the jeep shook a bit and puffed out some blue smoke.

it was the driveshaft, actually turned out to be my rear ds but the noise always sounded like it was coming from the front. i call the jeep dealer and the tech told me to check out the ujoint. i did, and sure enough the thing fell apart when i took it out.
