My 1987 4.0L cherokee wont start, im not sure why, this cable doesnt seem to be connected and that might be why it wont start, but i cant find anywhere i could plug it into, can anyone check to see if they have that red cable around there and help me out as to where it goes, thanks

today i called jeep4x4center.com and they said this wont fit an 87 cherokee, but for some reason it fits the 88-04 4.0 liter I6. anyone know the difference between an 87 4.0 liter I6 and the other ones. heres the link
