to repeat what has been said before.......the lift is made to be functional out wheeling for the weekend...not mainly to look good strutting around town. load that puppy up with a water jug , a packed ice chest, camping gear, a toolbox, recovery tools, and a full size spare and you'll be glad...

about 3 hours if you drive somewhat normally. was already planning on being up there anyways (wine festival for the girls/playing in the sand for the boys)so i look forward to meeting up with the XJ crew :thumbup:

At winterfest, my rock rails were priceless, however my t-case was fine. If you can't get both now, I would get the rock rails first and then the t-case as soon as you can. YMMV a differing thought........you Jeep can function with a dent in your rockers....it can't with cracked open Tcase...

93'...last flushed them about two years ago. i take it that calipers that are 12 years old and have never been rebuilt(as far as i know 2nd owner) are pushing it? :dunce: i just don't get how they seem fine all of a sudden after sitting for a while....

with how hard they stick i'd would think i get about 2miles per gallon. i mean think trying to push on the gas with one foot and the other mashed on the brakes....that's what i feels like. engine temps going towards the red...smell of scorching brakes. much worse than dragging or not releasing...
