CCV harness - Is that the vacum harness, if so it was new about 10,000 miles ago & is in good shape. I also cleaned the throttle body & checked the TPS when I first started dealing with the high idle.

When my 84 warms up (after 15 min or so of driving) something happens that causes idle to drop & it barely has enough power to get off the road. I have fixed the vaccum leaks, changed the carb, fuel pump, plugs & pcv. Any ideas would help. Thanks, Chris

Why not just use some washers to lock the shift fork in place? It's cheap, and will hold until your axle swap. Chris
