    Chinamans Shakedown Run

I haven't been here for a while. Really looking forward to getting out soon. Saw the annual Chinaman's run and was stoked. Unfortunately.... I have to work that week end.:( Hope to see you guys out though. Might try for Colofest again or Moab fall.

    Chinaman's is open.

Been keeping up to date on Colo4x4, and the access road is open. We need to continue to stay off of it if it is muddy. So.... when is the first run????? I have to work the next two weekends, but I would really love to go May 10th-11th. Here is more info on road condition...

FS CO.: Front XJ auto shaft, winch reciever mount.

I ran a front shaft at both ends. This is my trail spare. It was out of a 98 XJ auto. I have run it before when I had my normal DSs rebuilt. Runs fine. $50 A Draw Tie winch receiver mount. I was going to wire a winch to be portable, but never got around to it. A winch has never been mounted...

    Scary Truck Payload

You mean like puting info in your profile that you work for the Air Force on home land security. You might want to remove that, you wouldn't want your posting schedule to fall into the wrong hands.

    Help me find a XJ

I think you are going to have a hard time finding one with less than 120K miles and a lift for $4500. I will be updating my ad in the classifieds. I'm going to put it on Craigs list for $6500. So I will give it to NAXJA for $6000. Even if you can't buy mine, don't be too afraid about miles. Mine...

FrankZ: What can we do to help?

I'm really sorry to hear about that Frank. I figured your Karma bank would be maxed out. As it turns out, I do have 2 vehicles now. I was going to get my XJ ready to put on Craigs list, but you are welcome to use it. It is just going to be sitting in the street. For those that help others so...

Well, I've gone to the dark side.

Thanks PF. To be honest with you guys, I went to go play in a dirt field. It has some steep stuff to go up. Looking at it with my XJ eyes I said no problem. It is steep though. I went to go up it in the TJ and thought I was going straight over backwards. I pussed out. :D Weird. I'm going to...

Well, I've gone to the dark side.

I stumbled upon this and it was a spur of the moment thing. I think I got a good deal. I like how it turns on a dime, but was apprehensive of giving up the utility of the XJ. We will see if I regret it. It has a JKS everything 3" lift with a BL and a MML with 1350 CV shaft on 33's. Doesn't even...

My wheeling season has ended before it even started

Same way I felt when I was in. When I got out I said I would never live East of the Mississippi again. I have kept my promise.

    6 on 5.5" to 8 on 6.5" wheel adapters?

I use 6 on 5.5 adapters, but this was only going to be temporary. While it has been a while, I don't want it forever. If I'm not mistaken, 8 on 6.5 are the same. They have to be 2 piece adapters. Mine are 2". More bolts to work loose. They can be a pain for tire changes. Mine have not came loose...
