Can someone help me out pls.
Just want to know if anyone here knows the specs for a full-cast rotor for a 1999 vs the composite rotor. The reason why I'm asking is because I'm getting a pair of Power Slot rotors but I just don't know which one.
8722 PSL & 8722 PSR OR 8742 PSL & 8742 PSR?
My '99...
I saw that too. I've got this ebay alert thing that sends me emails when keywords such as "Jeep hub assembly" are found. That particular item is for composite rotors. I'm looking for a decent hub assembly for full cast rotors that won't break on me after the warranty expires. I saw some Timken...
I thought of taking out the bolt and using floor jack but the jack that we had had a leak (hydrolic fluid) and I didn't want to risk anything. I'm on a mission to look for that 2 piece T60. I did read your earlier comments...thank you. I will keep that in mind. The 'droid' that I was talking...
Mine went out today as well. I was at Firestone getting my lifetime alignment and the tech couldn't get it to start. They asked me if I had a "special" way of starting her up. I told them to give it 30 min but she never came around.
I didn't tell 'em about the oil on the starter problem. What a...
Anyone heard of the manufacturer http://www.bearing-technologies.com? What are your experiences (positive/negative)? Ask you all can see by now, I'm in need of a hub assembly. I'm just making sure that the assembly that I'm planning on purchasing isn't going to give out on me after the warranty...
Unfortunately they didn't have what I needed. P/N 53007449 is for composite rotors. I'm in need of a hub that will fit cast rotors.
This is what I got from TAPCO:
FRONT HUB ASSEMBLY
FRONT HUB JEEP J SERIES 89-91 PART OF ROTOR
FRONT HUB JEEP MJ, XJ 2WD 89-92 PART OF ROTOR
FRONT...
I paid $300 at the stealership a while back. I needed it right away for the driver's side. This time around I don't want to wait last minute for the passenger's side to go out. The link was for the Omix-Ada brand.
Anyone heard of the Omix-Ada brand? anyone running this brand?
I don't want to shell out $300 for another hub assembly.
I know that Timken is a good brand but it's a little more than $150 on ebay.
Pros and cons of Omix-Ada...
Thanks for the info.
When I tried ordering the part, the guy said that there isn't a difference between the two assemblies but I beg to differ. So I was forced to call the stealership to verify the p/n. The p/n I was given is 5016458AA for full cast rotors. The p/n that you gave me was for...
I'm looking to get a hub assembly (for full-cast rotors) but I need to know the p/n. Does anyone here know the part #? thanks.
BTW, I'm looking for the MOOG part #. I would call the stealership but this is an on-line purchase and I want to make sure before purchasing.
Install is going to be in a few days and I wanna do this without as much trouble as I possibly can avoid. I know that I'll have to PB the bolts...but what bolts exactly am I gonna hafta PB? Also, as far as depressurizing the fuel system...anyone have a step-by-step procedure for this? Thank all...
I guess it's a name thing? I suppose that with the name brand, comes reliability and stability. I actually got my Deka for less than $100. Not bad...I think. There was an article in one of the major 4x4 publications ( I forget which one) that compared 4 batteries including the red top Optima...
Sorry...I forgot to link you all to the product.

It's sealed. He says you can mount it side ways if I wish...pretty much the same as a yellow top deep cycle Optima....but it's a Deka.
Thanks for all your input.
Anyone heard of these or had any experience with them?
Yesterday I scored a yellow top deep cycle Deka battery.
Initially, I wanted to buy a red top Optima. But while at the battery shop, the guy that owns the place told me that it is comparable to the Optima yellow top and $50 cheaper. He also...
