After lots of searching for a clean 2 door XJ, I found a great 98 XJ 4x4 with only 98k miles. I flew from Southern to Northern CA to pick it up and drive it the 400 miles home. I first stopped to get the oil changed and get a quick look from a mechanic who gave the thumbs up before driving home...
I went to Costa Rica a couple years ago. Absolutely awesome place. I'd suggest doing a zip line tour through the rain forest. My most memorable experience was eating termites which are surprisingly good. As mentioned, hot springs are also very cool.

I have been to 29 palms and would definitely live here than there (no offense). The only great part about 29 palms is its super close to Johnson Valley.

I live in Tucson about 8 months a year now and go to the U of A. I love the school and its a great campus but besides that I don't think AZ is all that great. You realize what a nice place Southern California is when you step out for a while.

A friend and I had talked about possibly going out there this weekend.
Ive never been out there. We were thinking about starting off with fischer mountain and then possibly running clawhammer, aftershock, or sunbonnet pass.
Thats really awful. Hits close to home having also been hit by a drunk driver and injured by a drunk driver. Thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family
