i did unplug the harness, still the same draw. i unplugged the whole front overhead console too. but if there is a short in the wiring before it gets to that point i guess that wouldn't help.

i have unplugged the radio, it didn't change anything. i find it kinda strange the interior lights stay on all the time if i put a bulb in them. not all of them though, in the overhead console there are two front lights and two over the rear seats. the ones over the rear seats have no bulbs but...

mine isn't a renix, its a 91

checked headlight dimmer. there is no rear hatch switch. the glove box has a new bulb in it but doesn't work for some reason? i'll have to check into that chime module. sounds like it could be a possibility. thanks for all the response, and if anyone else has ideas please share.

here is the deal, my 91 xj is draining the battery if i let it sit for more than a couple days without starting it. i've narrowed it down to something on the "dome" fuse under the dash. its drawing .21amps and i cheched the current draw on my buddies 91 xj and he gets exactly .21amps draw when...

yeah, i bought this one used http://www.rubiconexpress.com/JeepParts/Product.aspx?part=RE1807 and the adapter too. but now i see on this site that it is for 96 and newer so i guess i can't use it on my 91.

i want to do a sye on my 91 xj with a 242. i bought some parts used but i'm not sure if i have everything i need to use a front driveshaft off another xj in the rear. the guy sent me the yoke to go on the output of the t-case and an adapter for the yoke so a stock front driveshaft will bolt up...

i have 4.5" and 35x12.5's with 4.56 gears. its alright. could use a little more power but its still got enough. i clear the tires no problem but have to be careful not to rub when hitting extreme angles offroad. kinda thinking about going back to 33's.

they are cheap but the quality may be shitty. its hard to say, alot of times you can find aftermarket body panels for cheap and they don't fit and line up right.

sorry, but i am finding conflicting info here. just to be clear.i have a 242, chryco. 8.25 rear end and 5" of lift. if i get the RE Hack n tap and the spicer flange will a stock front driveshaft be long enough or do i need one from a zj?
