For Sale: 1995 Cherokee sport located in New Jersey. This was my trail jeep, so it has plenty of scrapes and bruises but works awesome. Jeep runs great. Has a slight vibration at highway speeds, but is probably just the tire out of balance. $4500 for local pickup only.
New (less than...
Looking for 1 today in NJ. My gear installer can't continue until I find one and the dealers tell me its a 5 day wait. My existing 1 got chewed up.
If anyone has one, I can pick it up today.
I'm looking to get some gears installed. Looking for a reputable place in Central Jersey that will setup them up and not rape me on price. Private parties are also welcome as long as they have references and a quick turn around.
Thanks,
Keith
I'm in the process of making custom sway bar disconnects and need to know how to figure out the correct length. According to the JKS website, an xj should be at 15 degrees. Couple of issues with that. the sway bar has a bend at the last 4 inches. Do I measure the 15 degrees from there or the...
I swapped a 99 4.0 into my 95. I used the old coil, intake manifold and all the old sensors. When I went to try it for the first time I get no spark. The engine I put in already had a distributor, so I put the black inner cap with wires from my old dizzy onto the 99 dizzy. I doubt its 180*...
I just put in a 99 (according to the block) 4.0 into my 95 xj. I swapped the sensors and intake manifold from the 95 to 99 (power steering bracket bolt holes were different). What I did notice is that my old block has what appears to be a temp sensor on the back top of the head by the valve...
I just swapped motors in my 95. The motor ran ok, just a little tired. The oil pressure cold idle was around 40 when warm around 5 idle and 20 going down the highway. No accessories on it. Need it gone quick while i still have the hoist. It comes with a 98 intake manifold and the stock...
I'm in the process of swapping motors and noticed that the bushing on the drivers side mount was just about totally gone. I've always had a bad shake over 50 mph. Could the mount cause this? Hopefully it could and that will be that.
Oh and those that say a 98 will work with a 95 jeep with...
I've got a strange problem. I can wheel all day long with the air conditioner running and will maintain 210 degrees. As soon as I hit the highway, its in the red which I usually have to put the heat on full blast to keep it somewhat cooler. I just changed the fan clutch but that did nothing...
I got stuck pretty bad and was just waiting to be pulled out. The engine never died so I guess it was deep enough for the fan to keep splashing the intake. Well when I got out, I proceeded to shovel out all the water from the cab never turning the jeep off. On the way home, I noticed that I...
Well to make a long story short.
I bought a 95 country that has the 2hi - 4hi - n - 4low shifter. According to all my searching, it has a np231. Great. I order my teraflex exreme short shaft and go to put it in today. Having a hard time getting gear on new shaft, try using a press and...
Well here is my new to me 95 sport.
And a weekend of hard work, Rough Country 4.5" lift, new locked axles front and rear with some rims and tires picked up at the swap meet turned it into this.
I just pulled a set of 95 xj country rims off with Cooper Discoverer tires 235/75r15 tires that have about 5k miles on them. Tires of located in central Jersey for pick up only. $250 obo
I'm in the process of installing the new Rough Country 4.5 lift. It comes with adjustable upper and lower control arms. Would anyone have the initial measurements for this type of lift? It's going on a 95.
Well I am in the process of installing a new RC 4.5 in lift. The rear is done, but i've noticed that the emergency brake cable is pretty taught while the axle is suspended. Are there any other setups that I can just swap in to give me a little more wiggle room? This is on a 95 4 door.
Thanks...
