I have found that kroil is by far the best. If kroil won't break it free. Then break out the torch. It's gonna need some heat.

I don't think that electric ones are worth anything. I bought the cheapest gas one from sears about 5 years ago and it absolutly blows away every electric one that I have used Unless you want to use it somewhere you cant run an engine. Its gas all the way.

this might be somewhat of a goofy question and a little off topic, but are they 13mm or 1/2" 12 point??? i used a 1/2" and it fit good and snug. maybe 13mm and 1/2 are close enough. (13mm = .511") i just noticed that this is my 100 most..... yaay to me

I believe that AM still makes the H1 and H2 and gm makes the H3. I'm not sure if gm bought am general or just contracted with them

that's exactly what happened to mine. Turned out one ujoint was pretty frozen. Ant the other one was bad too. Both were dry and rusted. Axle joints btw.

is it necessary to keep this?? i pulled the bearing housing to change the u-joint and the shield fell apart. i'm not as much worried about damage or anything to the rotor as i am about clearance in the diff.

i'm thinking that it just is a d30 non disco....

was there ever, or has anyone ever seen a dana 35 for the front axle of a XJ?? i found someone that says he has one for cheap, and insists that its a 35 in the front.... but i've never heard of this, or read anything here for that matter. just wanted to know if anyone else has come across this...
