Yep. Wet sand some texture into the clearcoat, wipe down with xyl, mask off, and paint. Pull the tape off before it completely dries. I waited till it got pretty tacky before I pulled the masking off.

I started with herculiner, and imediately took it back off because it didn't look right. It had way too much texture. The one I stuck with is rustoleum, they make one that does not have any heavy texture, and it looks great. Here's a close up of it. It's dirty, but you get the idea. ">

Thanks! 36x12.50x16.5 It sits a little higher than needed, but the springs are brand new and should droop a little over time.
