The full floor pans that you can buy on Amazon and such are stamped for the 84-96 body style. I did put one in a 98, but the Ebrake opening is completely wrong, just haven't gotten around to adapting to it. The XJ is basically a trailer queen now, so not too worried about the ebrake yet.

I have an unused Novak Shifter cable for the 231/242 that I tried to make work with my 242, hence the second hole drilled in the arm. But could never could get the length/ratio right, so I just made the factory stuff work. I'll let if go $125 Shipped.

Tom Woods XJ 242J SYE kit is basically a well done hack and tap on a stock shaft. The 242J already comes with a 32 spline front output shaft so no worries there. If you want to upgrade the mainshaft look for a 242 out of an H1 or a 8V ZJ/WJ and even some late model KJ got a 32 spline rear output...
